Meet the author Kerstin Bergman

Kerstin Bergman made a thrilling debut in 2020 with Virgin and Oleander , including a return to her own upbringing on Ekerö, and when she was released in 2021 with the sequel Forget-me -not, it is also a return, now to her childhood summers in Dalsland. Her alter ego, Iris Bure, leaves everything and drives straight north towards Åmål after her cousin Ingrid desperately called and told her that her niece Alva had disappeared. The whole thing develops into a drawn-out searcher along winding small roads in the Dalsland forests and at the same time a searcher in the unsafe avenues of memory; what really happened while growing up here and what does it have to do with what is happening right now?
